Solmio-Kassa & ReceiptHero Link up for Digital Receipt Offering

We are pleased to announce a new partnership between Solmio-kassa, an all-in-one cash register and payment terminal solution, and ReceiptHero, innovators in digital receipt technology. This partnership aims to streamline the checkout process and improve the customer experience through technology.

Bringing Together Payment and Digital Receipting 

Solmio-kassa integrates various hardware solutions, including Verifone, Nets, and Sunmi terminals, to offer versatile payment systems. By partnering with ReceiptHero, we will introduce a simplified process for issuing receipts: customers will receive a QR code after payment, which, when scanned, loads a digital receipt on their mobile device. Alternatively if the customer has added their payment card to an integrated bank or expense platform, they will receive their receipt automatically in the corresponding application or service. These delivery methods are designed to reduce paper use and expedite the post payment process.

Digital Receipts for a Modern Customer Experience 

ReceiptHero's digital receipts offer more than a simple proof of purchase. They provide access to loyalty programs, stamp cards, offers, and promotions without the need for an additional app. Customers can use their existing Apple or Google accounts to engage with these features. 

Merchant Advantages

This partnership eliminates the need for merchants to invest in separate printer hardware for receipts. Solmio-kassa and its network of resellers will offer this integrated solution to merchants, allowing them to issue compliant digital receipts via ReceiptHero's service.

The integrated solution is expected to be available to merchants in June of this year, aiming to make transactions more efficient and environmentally friendly.
